Thank you for a lovely stay at Elder
grove. We were very impressed by the quality & standard of the
accommodation and facilities (lovely bar and lounge areas). They are as
good as a 1st class hotel with the added advantage of a more personal
and homely feel. The breakfast was superb (loved the home made bread).

Its a long time since we stayed before but Paul and Vicky looked after us just as well as Mum and Dad used to. Nothing is too much trouble. Thanks again. Mike & Cathy Wilkins, Val & Pasco Ray We had a super couple of days at Elder Grove Vicky's parents were looking after the place and doing a great job and the 2 excellent packed lunches sustained us when we came down the wrong path on Scarfell Pike and had to walk for three hours longer than expected!! We will be coming back to Elder Grove Christine and Stuart Elliott Thank you both so much for providing the base for a wonderful walking holiday. Everything was absolutely first class and could not be bettered in any top notch hotel. Add to that the perfect weather-what more could anyone want! Helena and David Cameron There are plenty of B&B's in Ambleside and as we are a frequent visitors, we've tried a lot of them but what sets Elder Grove apart is the little extras and attention to detail. A lot of thought has obviously gone into the running of the B&B from booking the room, to using local produce for the breakfasts, to the clean tidy rooms to the departure itself We'll stay here again. Mr & Mrs Barnes We enjoyed the 2 day break. The bedroom was lovely and cosy and the food was excellent. We hope to return for another visit.
